37 906 returned to service on the Severn Valley Railway yesterday after being stopped during the summer for extensive and specialised exhaust system repairs and power unit checks and adjustments. The loco performed well and it was pleasing to see a good turn out supporting the running day and loco. The repairs and adjustments have certainly not affected the noise and smoke department!

Tony Middleton's photos of the damaged exhaust system have been added to the Restoration Gallery and a photo has been added to the 2010 Gallery
