Welcome to the Ruston 906 Group's Website 37 906 is owned by the 'Ruston 906 Group' and is based on the Severn Valley Railway. The 'Ruston 906 Group' was formed on the 1st August 2006 following the purchase of the loco from EWS. 37 906 has proved to be a very popular loco with a strong following. This website aims to inform visitors about the loco, the group and it's activities and how you can support us in keeping this popular Ruston powered Class 37/9 in operation. |

The Class 37/9 was purchased by the 'Ruston 906 Group' in August 2006 and after remedial attention and maintenance, returned to service on the Severn Valley Railway on Saturday 7th June 2007. Subject to availability and other commitments, the loco is available for hire and has already appeared at several Diesel Galas and Open Days across the UK.
